LENSMAN EPISODES by Andrew Coates Disclaimer---- If you don't like what your are reading, fuck you!!!!!!!! EPISODE 1 A Galactic Patrol ship is under attack by a Boskone vessel and the crew escapes their doomed ship in escape pods. One of the crew members Kim has a strange dream in which he meets a peculiar individual called mentor, who makes Kim a lensman. Meanwhile back at the Galactic Patrol (GP) HQ. the council is trying to determine the fate of one of their ships, when Mentor show up and reveals that Kim is now a Lensman. Another member of the ill fated ship, Buskirk, attacks the Boskone ship and forces an entry. Kim sees this on his Lens and drops by the Boskone ship to give his friend a helping hand. Kim and Buskirk are soon in trouble and this time the Lens helps them out, one of the mortally wounded Boskones notice that Kim is a Lensman. The GP attacks the Boskone ship, but it's shields repel the GP's attack, but Kim and Buskirk have already taken control of the ship and pilot it to the nearest GP base and while being examined Kim just happens to meet Chris. EPISODE 2 Kim and Buskirk are still on base where they get another ship, Buskirk is happy because he manages to find his toy (a electrostatic war axe). Chris seems to be getting the hots for Kim, while Kim is ready to take is ship out which he is captain of because he is a Lensman. The ship goes into hyperspace and upon re entry into normal space they are immediatly attacked by the Boskones. The ship is suffering severe electrical stress when the pilot (henderson) fires Kim and Buskirk into a shuttle and sends them to the planets surface. The duo runs into some rather carnivore plants and insects, but another Lensman named Worsel comes to their aide and flies them to saftey. Worsel tells Kim and Buskirk how the Boskones attacked his planet and took his people hostage, then show them the fortress where his people are help prisoner. Worsel explains that he is also ill and to be cured he needs to be placed in the trunk of one of the special trees on his planet. Worsel then attacks Kim and Kim's Lens render Worsel unconcious and Buskirk then takes care of Worsel. Kim and Buskirk then gain enterance to the fortress, Kim and Buskirk then go in different directions to look for the imprisoned people. Kim manages to find where the Boskones are holding the people but he aslo manages to get discovered himself. Buskirk is busy trashing the place while Kim's Lens emitts a brigt light which temporary blinds the Boskones which aides in Kims escape. Buskirk and Kim meet and they discover an ante chamber which contains human prisoners, they have time to notice this before they are surrounded by Bokones. But a recovered Worsel and his liberated people come to Buskirk and Kims aide and they destroy the Boskones and the fortress. Worsel then joins the group and back at the base they have a good laugh over Chris's concern for her "loved one". EPISODE 3 Kim is awakened by Mentor, meanwhile the head of the GP (haint) is going over a video of a bar scene where everyone is mysteriously turned to stone. The GP is puzzled by this but it seems that a whole pile of choatic events have been happening. Kim is briefed on one such event and decides to check it out, the ship is approaching a underwater base. They drop the robot (soru) into the sea in a probe and they get a visual in the station and on of the beings inside. The probe returns and this time the crew decides to take amphibious ships to check out the station. On their way to the staion they are attacked by monster sea snakes, the snakes get hit by a beam of light and stop their attack and retreat. The crew then follows the retreating snakes back to the underwater station where they find hordes of these snakes, they then enter the station and find that it is a Boskone trap. When things start lookig hopeless they are saved by another Lensman (crogy), they manage to vanquish the Boskone threat ad the planet returns to its original splendor. The new Lensman joins the crew. EPISODE 4 The Boskones are busy doing what they do best, attacking another planet. The Boskone Commander is looking on and is pleased with the events. Helmuth then shows up and warns the Commander of the threat of the Lensmans, the Commander tells Helsmuth not to worry cause he has the situation under control. Kim is working out when he recieves a message from Worsel, this makes Buskirk happy because he just loves adventure. While on the ship Buskirk is trying to get some sleep, when he gets accosted by a nurse who thinks he is sick and makes him take a pill. Kim recieves a transmission from Crogy who tells him the location of a GP wreck, they find the wreck and search for survivors. The crew then discovers a mysterious presence which allows the crew to see fond memories, one crew member Hamish succumbs to the illusion and pilots a probe towards the presence. The presence then activates its defences and the probe gets destroyed and the ship gets trapped. The ship sends a task force and only Kim and Crogy make it through the defences. Inside the presence the Lensman's are protected by a force shield from the inner defences and this allows them to destroy the nucleus and the presence explodes. This action angers the Boskone Commander who witnessed the entire event, Worsel, Kim and Crogy find and board the Commanders ship. They manage to find their way to the Commander and confront him, unfortunatly Hulmuth show up and vaporizes the Commander for his stupidity. The three Lensman then have a meeting with Mentor EPISODE 5 Kim, Buskirk and another officer gaze at the GP fleet. A council meeting is going on for the GP to decide what to do about another Boskone threat, Kim tries to contact Mentor and is unsuccessful. Then he is asked to meet Haint, were they talk about Kim's father who Haint said could have been a Lensman if he didn't loose his arm. Kim, Buskirk, Soru and Haint then go to their ships, there is a brief firework display before the fleet enters hyperspace. While in hyperspace Worsel contacts the ship to warn them of a Boskone presence, Kim and Buskirk fire on the Boskone ship but to no avail. They then decide to try another strategy, so they pull up next to the Boskone ship and Kim and Buskirk attach themselves to the outside of the Boskone ship. They cut a hole in the Boskone ship and toss a bomb inside which cause the ship to explode. Chris is very happy for Kim's safe return. EPISODE 6 Haint and crew visit the King of a planet they are visiting, who gives them a tour of the place. They visit a monument erected in memory of two heroes who gave their lives defending the planet against a Boskone invasion. Meanwhile a Boskone ship is watching the planet which is unknown the to GP. Kim and Chris go with a guide who shows them a model of the ship the heroes used to defeat the Boskones. The guide is going to show the pair how to use the ship when the guide gets killed by a electric shock and again Kim finds himself facing another Boskone trap. The ship starts to take off by itself while a helpless Buskirk watches, The Boskone responsible gloats over Kim and Chris while Buskirk rushes to the rescue. The ship then starts to come alive and attack the trapped couple, the Lens helps them by leading Kim and Chris to a launch bay. They escape in a shuttle but are pursued by the mother ship, the shuttle gets hit by laser and Kim gets injured so Chris takes over the controls. Kim then revives enough to take command and the Lens forms a force screen around the shuttle and they kamikazee the mother ship. Kim and Chris are heroes and while they are in hospital, Buskirk brings them flowers which causes a small incident. EPISODE 7 Buskirk is using a gunnery simulator when he gets in trouble from one of the superior officers and is sent to a meeting with Kim and Haint. Buskirk is in trouble for his misbehavior and is suspended. Kim and Chris contemplate what to do about Buskirks recent predictament. They decide to give him some intensive personel training, while Buskirk's training is going on a general alert is called and Kim gets sent to investigate. And if you think Buskirk is going to be left behind you're crazy. Buskirk goes with Kim, which doesn't make everyone happy, they find a derelict space ship with a female passenger. She freaks out when Buskirks mentions the Boskones and demands her briefcase which Kim is holding. Inside the briefcase there are some containers of pills and some pic of the Boskone invasion of her planet. The girl (lana), Buskirk and a officer leave on a shuttle to go back to the base when they wind smack in the middle of a Boskone armada. The shuttle gets captured and boarded, Buskirk grabs his toy and starts dispatching Boskones, the Boskones manage to capture the bridge but a storming Buskirk frees the bridge. Kim rescues the shuttle and they return to the base. Buskirk gets his suspension reprimanded for his actions. EPISODE 8 The episode opens with Buskirk grabbing three pills from Lana's briefcase for examination. Lana is staring out into space shen Kim and Soru join her, she then runs to her room and looks at the bottle of pills (dehydrated xenophobes) that are in her briefcase. Buskirk is attacked by a xenophobe (the results of the pill and water) which has already attacked one crew member. Lana comes to the scene and is frightened by the strange mark on the injured crew memeber's forehead. The injured crew member goes nuts while Lana is being chased by the xenophobe. A shot from a laser destroys the xenophobe while kim rescues Lana, the crew then lands at a desolate planet while being monitored by Boskones. The Boskones land next to the GP ship and send a boarding party, Buskirk then goes nuts and has to be knocked out and the crew gets captured. Chris comes to the rescue in a fighter while a recovered Buskirk wakes up and uses the ship's gun to shoot the enemy vessel. In the following mele the crew reagin the ship, and Buskirk gives the retreating Boskones a little going away gift. EPISODE 9 the ship is to land on another planet when a problem arrives between Lana's affection for Kim and Chris being in the way. The crew checks out the planet and find a village, which appears at first to be deserted. But it turns out the the people were just hiding (the villagers resemble little Buskirks), the village gets attacked by a fire breathing psuedo elephant. The crew manages to destroy the elephant but it wasn't a easy task and afterwards the villagers throw a party while Worsel talks to Kim. Lana takes off and Kim, Buskirk and Chris go looking for her, they stumble upon a wreck of a space ship in the middle of a jungle. They explore the wreck and find a whole container of instant xenophobes. Chris gets grabbed by a robot and Buskirk tries to dispatch the robot but is stopped by Lana. Lana tells her tale about the wreck, how her and her dad crashed on this world and her dad (a biological wizard) developed life for this world. They then went into suspended amination to let the planet develop. When Lana woke up she found her dad gone and the people beig terrorized by Boskones. A Boskone ship land next to the wreck and a battle ensues, the girls try to escape to safety but Lana gets captured. The Boskones destroy the wreck and the trio make there way inside the Boskone ship. Worsel tries to contact Kim to find out what is going on, but to no avail.
